From the Jacksonville Superintendent meeting on Wednesday, I have created two new message templates in AppWright.
- Material Pickup Jacksonville
- Material Pickup Orlando
These are set to send a message to:
- Jacksonville - Jovanni Carmenatty
- Orlando - Chani Abreau
You will be able to find these in two different locations.
- From the Discussions button for your job. New Message Topic - MSG Template - "Material Pickup (Location)"
- From the Job Information Screen. There are two new button at the top of the screen that will take you to directly to the template to create the message.
Part of the conversation was the request to add pictures to the message. At the bottom of the message there is a Documents section. Click or touch the button that says "Show List" to show all documents that are attached to your job. You can search and choose any existing pictures, or you can then click or touch the "Add Docs" button to open a new window where you can either upload a picture you have taken, or take a new picture to attach. This works the same as it does everywhere else in AppWright.
These templates are live and ready for use. If anyone needs assistance with them, please let me know.

The Project Team has asked that their favorites be consolidated to the following:
• Close BisTrack Contracts
• Complete Takeoff
• Create Finish Tape Labor PO
• Create Tape Sills Labor PO
• Create Tape Walls Labor PO
• Create Tie Down Labor PO
• Florence Work Orders
• Framing Labor PO
• GCS - Create Work Order
• Incomplete Change Order
• ICG All Job Summary
• Invoice Finish Tape Labor
• Invoice Recurring
• Invoice Tie Down
• Invoice Zip Tape Labor
• Office Prepare Framing Package
• Order Embedded Straps
Here are the steps taken:
• Copied the favorites to a generic user account.
• Deleted all favorites that the Project Admin team members had currently.
• Set their “My Tasks” favorite to be their default favorite.
• Copied the favorites above to the Project Admin team.
The Design Combined event has been updated.
- Revised the slack days between tasks.
- Restored the "Submit Truss Designs to EOR" task.
- Added a new task - "Upload Customer Options".
The task "Schedule Framing Event" is now 15 days after the takeoff is completed. This will act as a holding date and will be the task that the field and the manufacturing facilities should monitor. I have also pushed these changes out to all of the existing design jobs. (71 Total)
I have added two new favorites for all users. These will be located near top of the favorites list in the section called "Global Favorites".
- Schedule Framing Event
- Upload Customer Options
Below is a picture showing the location of the favorites.

The next picture shows the revised task flow for the Design Combined event. (Tasks in blue are milestones.)

I have created a new report that will show the tasks complete for each designer. This report can also be scheduled to be sent weekly, and create one report for each designer. The first tests will be sent out Wednesday the 26th.

We have created two new screens that will prompt the designers to enter the board feet and the lineal feet of their designs when they mark those tasks 100%.
When the Design Trusses and Design Panels tasks are marked 100%, a box will open that will ask them to enter the board feet and/or lineal feet of the project for trusses and wall panels. This is the same information that we capture today on the job information screen. The new prompt screens will help make sure that we are gathering the information every time, so that we can begin to use the capacity calendars on the manufacturing side of the business.
A document showing the steps for this has been emailed to the design team.

AppWright Redesign
Audit
AppWright User Audit Completed 2-23-25
I have completed the user permissions audit for all AppWright users. Below are the key adjustments.
- Removed the ability for all users except the user class of 10 to be able to close tasks out of order. This means that is a predecessor task is still not completed that you will not be able to mark your task complete. This was the number one item requested to be completed as part of this audit.
- Adjusted the user's timeout from 24 hours to 10 hours. More may be adjusted later.
- Disabled all user accounts who had not logged in within the past 40 days.
- Removed system setup access to all users except the system administrators.
- Enabled SSO for all users that it was disabled for.
- Adjusted the "Department" that each user is assigned to. This does not affect any settings in AppWright, it just makes it easier to sort the user system table to find any issues.
- Reset all users access to the job information screen fields. Some users may notice more fields are available to them, and some users may find less.
- Standardized the items that show up in the green side menu for all users, based on department.
- Adjusted the permissions in the Worklist User Authority settings in the system setup tables.
- Reassigned all users to the correct Worklist User Authority based on their job responsibilities. Most users will see a reduction in the options available to them under the "Checked Item Action" dropdown on the worklist screen.
In all, 170 users had their permissions realigned based on twelve different categories. If you find that you are missing a feature that you need, please use submit a change at this link: [(https://icg.canny.io/appwright-redesign)]
